Kell Brook looks ahead to "massive fights" after Jo Jo Dan

Brook confident of title defence

IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook has predicted that he will retain his title against Jo Jo Dan on Saturday.

The 28-year-old faces Dan in his first defence of the title, which he won by beating Shawn Porter six months ago.

Brook told BBC Sport: "Mandatories come along and you have to deal with them. He's earned his position like I did against Porter, so he gets his chance to take that title off me, but that's not happening.

"I am not looking past him, but I know that there are massive fights out there for me in the division and after I take care of business tonight, I am free to fight anyone."

Brook is already targeting the winner of the Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao for his next fight.
