Bernd Boente: "A rematch is absolutely inconceivable"

Bernd Boente says that Vitali Klitschko will not give Dereck Chisora a second fight.

Vitali Klitschko's manager Bernd Boente has stated that there is 'no chance' of a rematch between Klitschko and Dereck Chisora.

The Russian fighter had claimed that he wanted to give the Brit a second fight, in order to punish Chisora for his behaviour over the past week.

Boente, however, has poured cold water on the idea and expects Chisora to be banned for his actions in the post-fight press conference on Saturday evening.

"A rematch is absolutely inconceivable and won't happen. Of course, Vitali has been affected emotionally, but a fight is not up for discussion and we will not offer Chisora a further platform," Boente told Sky Sports News.

"The hearing takes place in London next month when [Chisora] will be banned for nine to 12 months. In addition he will fall out of the WBC's top 15 rankings and will have to fight his way back up."

Chisora will appear before the British Boxing Board of Control next month.
