Bellew "kicking himself" after Chilemba draw

Tony Bellew has said that he is "kicking himself" for failing to take full control of his fight with Isaac Chilemba on Saturday night.

The Liverpudlian fought to a draw against the Malawian at the Echo Arena, and the 'Bomber' admitted that he should have put the contest beyond any doubt before it went to points.

"If I thought it was all on the line in the last round, I would have gone in all guns blazing," he told the Liverpool Echo.

"I could have put myself through the gears a bit more and put my foot on the gas, but you don't risk everything if you think you are winning.

"I chose to have a round off at the wrong time and I'll kick myself forever now because of that."

The stalemate means that the pair are likely to have a rematch of their WBC title eliminator bout.
