Unbeaten boxer Anthony Joshua has insinuated that a fight with American veteran Tony Thompson could be on the cards.
Joshua, 25, is unbeaten as a heavyweight since turning professional after winning super heavyweight gold at the London 2012 Olympics. He has 10 knockouts from 10 fights.
He is set to fight on April 4 at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle but an opponent has not yet been named.
I like the idea of boxing Tony Thompson in the near future. Be a great statement. I ALWAYS! Forward these offers across to my coach.— Anthony Joshua MBE (@anthonyfjoshua) March 4, 2015
Joshua took to Twitter to say that he would love to fight Thompson and that the idea should be passed on to his coach.
