Arthur Abraham: 'George Groves can beat Carl Froch'

Abraham tips Groves for victory

Arthur Abraham has insisted that George Groves can surprise Carl Froch when the two fighters meet later this month.

Abraham believes that Groves showed his quality when he beat Baker Barakat in March and claims that the 23-year-old could take the WBA and IBF super-middleweight belts from Froch.

"I see Groves as a lively underdog and would not be surprised if he beats Froch," he told Sky Sports News.

"I was ringside March 23, when he stopped his opponent in fashion and I am really impressed by him. He could well be one of the best in the future as he is still very young."

Abraham lost to Froch on points in 2011.
