Azerbaijan have secretly paid millions of dollars to international boxing organisation World Series Boxing (WSB), evidence has suggested.
It is believed that the Eurasian country has bribed boxing officials to ensure two gold medals at the London 2012 Olympics, according to the BBC.
While the International Boxing Association (AIBA) have reportedly confirmed that payments in the region of £5.9m were made by an Azeri national, they have denied that any medal fixing was involved.
The AIBA are preparing to launch an investigation into the matter, while International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge has requested that the BBC provide evidence to back up the claims.
