Marvin Williams suffers heel inflammation

Utah Jazz forward Marvin Williams is listed as day-to-day after being diagnosed with an inflamed heel.

Marvin Williams was forced to miss Utah Jazz's game against the Indiana Pacers last night after being diagnosed with an inflamed heel.

The forward underwent a bone scan after suffering from pain in his right foot, which revealed a calcaneal inflammation.

The team has said that they will assess the 27-year-old's injury on a day-to-day basis.

Williams, who recently broke his nose, has featured in 13 games so far this season, averaging 10.4 points.
