Tim Duncan hopes to benefit LaMarcus Aldridge

San Antonio Spurs star Tim Duncan reveals that he plans on playing a back-up role to LaMarcus Aldridge this season.

San Antonio Spurs veteran Tim Duncan has revealed that he plans on playing in a way that will benefit LaMarcus Aldridge next season.

Aldridge joined the Spurs after becoming a free agent having decided not to re-sign with the Portland Trail Blazers.

"I am not worried about him benefiting my game, I am going to worry about me benefiting his," Duncan told Bleacher Report.

"Just going to let him do his thing and just see where I can fit in and help. I am going to ride his coattails and I am going to push him."

Aldridge has noted himself this summer that he is not concerned about his on-court chemistry with Duncan.
