Dorell Wright expected to miss at least four weeks for Portland Trail Blazers

Portland Trail Blazers key reserve forward Dorell Wright could miss between four and six weeks of NBA action following a break in his left hand.

Portland Trail Blazers forward Dorell Wright is expected to miss between four and six weeks of NBA action due to a hand injury.

According to the Associated Press, Wright has broken a bone in his non-shooting left hand, meaning that the key reserve will now miss vital games as the Blazers look to bag a playoff position.

Wright picked up the injury during Portland's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, with an X-ray confirming a break to his fourth metacarpal bone.

The 29-year-old has made two starts for the Blazers this campaign, averaging 4.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 12.4 minutes in 48 games.
