Jeff Hornacek highly critical of Markieff Morris

Phoenix Suns coach Jeff Hornacek reveals that he believes Markieff Morris can improve his game.

Phoenix Suns coach Jeff Hornacek has insisted that Markieff Morris's situation will take a turn for the better when he reports to training camp.

Morris has made his dissatisfaction with the organisation's decision to trade his brother, Marcus, public, and Hornacek believes that he needs to spend more time working on his game.

"Some games he brings it, some games he does not. Maybe it is his conditioning," he told reporters.

"Maybe it is him saying, 'If I put the effort in on defence, then I can't do it on the offensive end'."

Morris averaged 15.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 0.5 block per game last season, which were all improvements on his career averages.
