Eric Bledsoe has revealed his determination to lead the Phoenix Suns to a playoff spot this season.
A 39-43 record prevented the Suns from being in the post-season battle in the last campaign as they missed out in a fiercely competitive Western Conference, and Bledsoe is confident that both he and the team are ready to take a big step forward as he prepares for his third year in Arizona.
"I think this year, this season is going to be a big season for me," the 25-year-old guard told CBS Sports. "I feel good and confident in myself but the biggest goal I got right now is making the playoffs.
"I can say all of the goals I want individually, but if we make the playoffs those individual accolades will come."
The Suns have not reached the playoffs since losing to the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference finals in 2010.
