Miami Heat point guard Dwyane Wade is reportedly open to offers to play for a Chinese team during the NBA lockout.
Although no offers have been made or discussions taken place, Wade’s agent Henry Thomas has said that the Heat star would not rule out a move.
“If offers are made down the road, will they be looked at? Absolutely”, Thomas told ESPN.
Although negotiations are ongoing, a deal between the NBA and the Players Association looks increasingly unlikely.
Players Association executive director Billy Hunter has said that the entire 2011-12 NBA season is likely to be cancelled.
Several star players, including Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki, have been linked to moves to clubs in China and Turkey if the lockout continues.
