Iman Shumpert sprains knee

Iman Shumpert sprained his knee during the New York Knicks' win over the New Orleans Pelicans last night.

The shooting guard had to be helped to the locker room after sustaining the injury during the third quarter of the game.

Yahoo! Sports reports that the 23-year-old has sprained the medial collateral ligament.

Shumpert has been averaging seven points per game for the Knicks this season.
