Report: Steve Kerr expects New York Knicks coaching offer

Former Chicago Bulls guard Steve Kerr reportedly expects to be made New York Knicks coach during the off-season.

Steve Kerr has reportedly claimed that he expects to be offered the New York Knicks coaching job.

The team are expected to part company with Mike Woodson in the coming days after the team missed out on a place in the playoffs.

According to the New York Post, the former Chicago Bulls guard believes that he will be offered the job, and is likely to accept the role.

Since retiring at the end of the 2002-03 season, Kerr has worked as an analyst and commentator, and also had a spell as president and general manager at the Phoenix Suns.
