The veteran forward is said to be keen to leave the team, who have the worst record in the NBA this season.

The Journal Times reports that the two parties have begun negotiations, while the Miami Herald says that the Miami Heat would be interested in the 33-year-old.

Butler has averaged 11 points per game this season.
