Gerald Green has been fined $25k for making menacing gestures during a pre-season game.
The 29-year-old appeared to make gun and throat-cutting gestures after making three-point shots in the final quarter of Miami Heat's 110-105 victory over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
Green finished the game on 28 points and will play in his first regular-season match as a Heat player against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday.
The shooting guard joined Miami on a $1.4m contract this summer after leaving the Phoenix Suns.
