Roy Hibbert: 'I'll play at All-Star defensive level'

Los Angeles Lakers star Roy Hibbert has insisted that he will play defensively at an All-Star level next season.

Hibbert was traded to the Lakers from the Indiana Pacers earlier this month, a year after he was a candidate for the Defensive Player of the Year award.

"I expect to play at an All-Star defensive level, and everything else will come," Hibbert said, according to the Orange County Register.

The Lakers also signed Lou Williams and Brandon Bass this summer in a bid to compete for a playoff spot next season.
