Golden State Warriors, David Lee open to trade?

Golden State Warriors power forward David Lee reportedly plans to work with the team to be traded during the NBA offseason.

David Lee has reportedly told the Golden State Warriors that he will be open to being traded during the NBA offseason.

The power forward lost his place in the starting lineup to Draymond Green shortly before the start of the playoffs, leaving him to split minutes off the bench with Marreese Speights and Festus Ezeli.

According to ESPN, the 32-year-old plans to work with the newly-crowned NBA champions to find a new home before the start of next season.

Lee, who is due to earn over $15.4m (£9.7m) next season, averaged 18.4 points per game in the regular season, which dropped to 8.2 in the playoffs.
