Jason Thompson pleased with Golden State Warriors move

Jason Thompson admits that he was not disappointed to learn that he was being traded by the Philadelphia 76ers to the Golden State Warriors.

Jason Thompson has revealed that he is delighted to secure a trade move to the Golden State Warriors.

The 29-year-old initially moved to the Philadelphia 76ers in July from the Sacramento Kings, but then was shifted to the Warriors as Brett Brown's men acquired Gerald Wallace from the NBA champions.

Thompson has insisted that he is not disappointed to be traded to the Warriors because of the winning culture at the club.

"I want to be smiling and winning," Thompson told reporters. "I'm probably going to be smiling more and not having to worry about those types of things."

Thompson averaged 6.1 points per game in the 2014-15 season.
