Report: LeBron James wants to sign new Cleveland Cavaliers contract

Report: James to stay with Cavaliers

LeBron James will reportedly sign a new contract to remain with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to reports.

The 11-time NBA All-Star has been linked with an exit from Cleveland and is expected to reject the player's option in his contract, which will make him a free agent on July 1.

However, the AP claims that James will sign a completely new deal, which will see increase his wages to over £13.9m per season.

The 30-year-old only joined the Cavaliers last year.
