Andrew Wiggins signs rookie contract with Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers have announced that Andrew Wiggins has signed his rookie contract with the team.

The shooting guard, who averaged 17.1 points in the last college season, was the top overall pick in June's Draft.

The 19-year-old has already been linked with a trade move away from the team, but the completion of his contract prevents Wiggins from being involved in a trade for 30 days.

The Cavaliers are believed to be interested in trading Wiggins for Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love.
