David Blatt: 'We dropped off the map a bit during overtime defeat'

Cleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt says that his side "dropped off the map a little bit" during their game one overtime defeat to the Golden State Warriors.

Cleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt has suggested that his side failed to show enough energy in overtime following their game one defeat to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA playoff finals.

Warriors point guard Stephen Curry produced a standout performance in the extra period to help claim a 108-100 win, and Blatt has made clear that his side did not show the same kind of approach they had displayed in the first four quarters.

"I thought we came out of the regulation flat and without the kind of energy that we had displayed throughout the game," said Blatt, according to the NBA's official website.

"They made a few plays. I mean, the first minute or minute and a half no one scored, and it seemed like once they got a basket or two we kind of dropped and they took the momentum and obviously continued throughout the overtime. We sort of dropped off the map a little bit."

Game two between the sides begins on Sunday evening at the Oracle Arena in California.
