LeBron James to play in season opener?

LeBron James will reportedly be fit to play in Cleveland Cavaliers' season opener against Chicago Bulls on Tuesday.

LeBron James will be fit to play in the Cleveland Cavaliers' season opener against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday, according to reports.

The 30-year-old received an anti-inflammatory injection in his lower back earlier this month but took part in a practice session on Sunday.

"It's a good sign. It's a good step," Cavs coach David Blatt told reporters.

"We'll see how he responds later today and tomorrow, but he did a great job practicing today and hopefully that bodes well for Tuesday."

The 11-time All Star will be playing his 13th season in the NBA.
