Derrick Rose plays down injury concerns

Derrick Rose plays down concerns over the hamstring injury he picked up in the win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Derrick Rose has insisted that the hamstring injury he suffered on Monday night will not keep him out for longer than a "couple of days".

The Chicago Bulls point guard sustained the problem in the 96-81 win over the Cleveland Cavliers and was forced off the court in the fourth quarter.

"It's just a minor sprain," Rose told reporters. "Nothing serious. Hopefully I'll be better in a couple of days, but it's nothing big at all."

Chicago coach Tom Thibodeau agreed with Rose by suggesting that the injury was a minor problem.

"He tweaked it. When he gets re-evaluated, we'll have more information. It appears to be minor," Thibodeau revealed.

Rose now faces a battle to be fit for Friday's game against the Toronto Raptors.
