Deron Williams: 'Brooklyn Nets injuries are a nightmare'

Deron Williams has said that the Brooklyn Nets have had to deal with "nightmare" injuries this season.

The Atlantic side slipped to their 19th defeat of the season against the Chicago Bulls yesterday.

The point guard told reporters: "I'm surprised at this season, how it's played out altogether.

"It's like a nightmare the way the injuries have been, the things we talk about every day, the lack of effort, the lack of energy."

Williams was the team's top scorer, adding 18 points.
