Kevin Love reached out to Kelly Olynyk

Kevin Love has revealed that he reached out to Kelly Olynyk after undergoing surgery on his separated shoulder.

The Cleveland Cavaliers power forward was ruled out for up to six months after clashing with the Boston Celtics center in the first round of the playoffs in April.

The 26-year-old told reporters: "About a week went by, I reached out to Kelly, sent him a text, said, 'Hey, it's all good'. You know, it was a tough play, and we just move on from there."

Love has insisted that he will have recovered in time for the start of the season.
