Wheelchair racer David Weir set a new personal best to win the BMW Berlin Marathon on Sunday.
The quadruple London 2012 gold medallist crossed the line in one hour 27 minutes and 36 seconds to beat Switzerland's Heinz Frei by just over three seconds.
With the course in the German capital renowned as a quick one, the time took 41 seconds off Weir's previous best.
In the men's elite race Kenya's Eliud Kipchoge added the Berlin crown to his London Marathon win in August, winning in a world-leading 2hrs 04mins 01secs.

Kipchoge's compatriot Gladys Cherono won the women's race in 2:19:25, while Britons Sonia Samuels and Alyson Dixon both secured Olympic qualifiers and new PBs in finishing ninth and 11th in 02:28:04 and 02:29:30 respectively.
