Usain Bolt and Allyson Felix named athletes of the year

Usain Bolt and Allyson Felix have been named the male and female athletes of the year.

The pair received the accolades at an International Association of Athletics Federation ceremony in Barcelona.

Both athletes won three gold medals at the London 2012 Olympics.

Bolt becomes the first man to win the award four times. Felix was chosen for the award ahead of Britain's Jessica Ennis, who was also on the shortlist.
