Bolt: The Games are "brilliant"

Usain Bolt has expressed his enthusiasm for the Commonwealth Games after denying reports that he slammed the competition earlier this week.

The Jamaican sprinter reportedly called the Games "a bit shit" on Tuesday, but he has since rubbished those stories, and claimed that the only thing he hasn't enjoyed about Scotland has been the weather.

He told BBC Sport: "I felt like I was at the London Olympics.

"I love competing in front of a crowd that is really loud so it was just brilliant. Everything's been great apart from the weather."

Bolt anchors the Jamaican relay team on Saturday evening.
