Pat White to join Washington Redskins?

Pat White will sign a contract with the Washington Redskins today, it has been reported.

USA Today says that the former Miami Dolphins quarterback met with team officials yesterday evening, and will finalise a deal with the NFC East champions later.

The Redskins currently have just one fit quarterback on their roster, as Robert Griffin III continues to recover from knee ligament surgery.

White met with the San Francisco 49ers earlier in the off-season, but the Super Bowl finalists have since traded for Colt McCoy.
