Report: Junior Galette to miss majority of season with ankle injury

Redskins 'lose Galette for most of season'

The Washington Redskins will be without new signing Junior Galette for the majority of the season due to injury, according to reports.

The three-time Super Bowl champions snapped up the defensive end from the New Orleans Saints in the off-season, but he suffered an ankle injury in practice yesterday.

NFL Media claims that Galette has torn his Achilles tendon, and will miss most of the campaign as a result.

The 27-year-old has made 31.5 sacks in his career.
