Marcus Mariota excited to play for Tennessee Titans

Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota has insisted that he is excited about playing for the franchise after being selected with the number two overall pick in the NFL Draft 2015.

Mariota met with general manager Ruston Webster and coach Ken Whisenhunt during the pre-Draft process, including meetings at the NFL scouting combine, a private workout and a meeting after his pro day.

"I felt that through all of our conversations and everything that we did we developed a pretty close relationship," Mariota said, according to ESPN.

"I'm looking forward to playing for them. I'm excited for this opportunity. I'm going to work hard at this and make the most of it."

Mariota did not attend the Draft in Chicago on Thursday night, instead staying home in Hawaii during the process.
