Saints ease past Buccaneers

The New Orleans Saints have returned to winning ways with a 41-0 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Drew Brees threw three touchdown passes to help the Saints to their first shutout win since 1995.

Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman had four interceptions, completing 26 of 47 passes.

Running back Doug Martin had one of his quietest games of the season, rushing for only 16 yards.

The Saints receivers and running backs split the workload, with David Thomas, Darren Sproles, Lance Moore, Joe Morgan and Mark Ingram all finding the end zone.

Neither side is likely to make the playoffs, having both lost eight games so far this season.
