Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady once again denies reports claiming that he has decided to retire after 22 seasons in the NFL.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has once again insisted that he is yet to make a decision over his NFL future.

Reports emerged over the weekend claiming that the seven-time Super Bowl champion had taken the decision to retire after 22 years in the game following the Bucs' playoff defeat to the Los Angeles Rams.

However, Brady did not confirm the news himself and has subsequently revealed that he is still pondering his next move, with the 44-year-old not prepared to rush into a decision.

"Sometimes it takes some time to really evaluate how you feel and what you want to do. I think when the time's right I'll be ready to make a decision one way or another, just like I said last week," Brady said on the "Let's Go!" podcast.

"I'll know when the time is right. Like I've always said, I'm very blessed to play as long as I have. As things have gone on in the later parts of my career ... there's a lot of interest in when I'm going to stop playing. I understand that. When I know, I'll know. When I don't know, I don't know. I'm not going to race to some conclusion about that."

Brady finished the 2021 season with league highs in passing yards (5,316) and touchdown passes (43) with the Buccaneers and now has a record total of 624 touchdown passes to his name.
