Les Snead: 'We plan to use Greg Robinson at guard'

St Louis Rams general manager Les Snead reveals that the club will use Greg Robinson as an offensive guard rather than tackle after selecting him second overall in the 2014 Draft.

St Louis Rams general manager Les Snead has revealed that the club plan to use second overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft Greg Robinson as an offensive guard.

Robinson played tackle for the Auburn Tigers but due to presence of veterans Jake Long and Rodger Saffold the 21-year-old will be forced to play on the interior for the NFC West side.

Snead told reporters: "We really like Jake Long and we think he's one of our best five offensive lineman. His rehab is going as planned, so if it still continues to move down the path of being on schedule, he'll be in the lineup week one.

"Right now Greg will be somewhere else on the line and right now it's leaning towards a guard position."

The Rams also selected defensive tackle Aaron Donald in the first round of the 2014 Draft.
