The first round of the 2014 NFL Draft took place on Thursday night in New York as the franchises looked to secure potential stars of the future.
As expected, it was defensive end Jadeveon Clowney who was selected first by the Houston Texans following his eye-catching performances in South Carolina.
The St Louis Rams used the second pick to draft Auburn Tigers offensive tackle Greg Robinson, before Blake Bortles became the first quarterback selected when the Jacksonville Jaguars elected to secure his services.
Despite initially being expected to be one of the first picks in the Draft, Johnny Manziel had to wait until the 22nd selection to be chosen by the Cleveland Browns.
The Browns agreed a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, who allowed the franchise to move further up the order for a third-round pick.
