Steven Jackson to void St Louis Rams contract?

It has been reported that Steven Jackson will void the final year of his contract with the St Louis Rams to become a free agent.

The running back, who has repeatedly been linked with a move away from the side, is expected the test the free agent market ahead of the 2013 season.

The St Louis Post-Dispatch has stated that the 29-year-old will void the final year of his current deal before March 12.

Jackson has recorded over 1,000 rushing yards in the last eight seasons.
