Half-Time Report: Seattle Seahawks in control at CenturyLink Field

Seahawks in control at CenturyLink Field

The Seattle Seahawks have established an 11-point lead over the Minnesota Vikings at the half-time interval of their NFL meeting at CenturyLink Field.

Steven Hauschka and Blair Walsh traded field goals early in the first quarter, but it was the Seahawks who scored the first touchdown courtesy of Marshawn Lynch.

The running back rushed four yards into the end zone, and Hauschka kicked the extra to see the hosts lead by seven heading into the second quarter.

Jarius Wright drew the Vikings level, profiting from a brilliant 38-yard pass from Christian Ponder, but another short burst from Lynch restored a seven-point cushion for the Seahawks.

Walsh shaved three off the lead but Russell Wilson found Doug Baldwin to make it 24-13 at the break.
