Donte Whitner has questioned whether he will remain with the San Francisco 49ers next season.
The safety is heading into the final year of his current contract with the NFC West champions.
The 27-year-old tweeted: "I love the Niners! But will I be here next yr? Don't get it twisted! I WANT to be here."
Whitner made 83 tackles, two forced fumbles and an interception for the 49ers last season.
