Wallace agrees deal with 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers have announced that Seneca Wallace has signed a one-year contract with the side.

The quarterback, who was released by the New Orleans Saints earlier this week, joins QBs Colin Kaepernick, Colt McCoy, Scott Tolzien and BJ Daniels on the NFC West side's roster.

Wallace has also had previous spells with the Cleveland Browns and Seattle Seahawks.

Wide receiver Ricardo Lockette was waived by the 49ers to make room for the 33-year-old.
