San Francisco 49ers new head coach Jim Tomsula has insisted that he retains faith in quarterback Blaine Gabbert.
The 25-year-old joined the 49ers from the Jacksonville Jaguars ahead of last season after three unsuccessful years in Florida.
However, he featured in just one game in 2014, but Tomsula is adamant he will make it to the top.
He told the San Jose Mercury News: "I'm a believer in Blaine Gabbert. I am, just point blank. We're building a team, in terms of the on the field play and the team - Blaine Gabbert, that's a beautiful piece."
Colin Kapernick is currently the 49ers' first-choice quarterback.
