Report: Manti Te'o unlikely to play in week one

San Diego Chargers rookie Manti Te'o will not make his NFL debut in Monday night's clash against the Houston Texans, according to NFL.com.

Te'o has been out of squad practice since early August, but reports had suggested that he would be ready to play when the season came around.

While Te'o is now fit, the report claims that he is not 100% match fit, but could be ready for week two or three.

Te'o was drafted at number 38 overall in the 2013 Draft.
