Le'Veon Bell "loving" role within Pittsburgh Steelers offense

Le'Veon Bell says that he is enjoying the number of touches he is getting despite being a new part of the Pittsburgh Steelers offense.

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie Le'Veon Bell has admitted his pleasure at being an important part of an NFL offensive unit.

Running back Bell has rushed for 646 yards and six touchdowns so far this season, and in Sunday's victory over the Cincinnati Bengals he touched the ball in nine of the team's first 10 snaps.

Bell told reporters: "On Sunday, a big part of the game plan was to get me involved early. And we did that. The touches and stuff, I love the way they give me the ball, out of the backfield, running the ball.

"Whatever it may be I get the opportunity to make plays. When the plays present themselves I do the best I can to make a play. We'll see how it goes. I'm going to continue to try to get better and do what I can."

The 21-year-old missed the first three matches of the campaign with a foot injury which he sustained in pre-season.
