Steve Weatherford: 'I wouldn't want to play with Tim Tebow'

New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford has insisted that he wouldn't want quarterback Tim Tebow playing for his team.

The 27-year-old has joined the Philadelphia Eagles on a one-year deal following two seasons out of the sport, but Weatherford is adamant that he wouldn't enjoy playing with him.

He told WFAN: "I'm the biggest Tim Tebow fan in the world. I mean, who wouldn't want their daughter to date a guy like that? I'll tell you what, I don't want him taking snaps for my team."

Tebow signed to play for the New England Patriots in 2013, but they released him without making an appearance.
