Raiders snap up free agent Tuck

The Oakland Raiders have signed former New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck in a deal believed to be worth £6.5m.

General manager of the Giants Jerry Reese confirmed last month that Tuck would be testing the free agency, but the Raiders have moved quickly to tie up a two-year deal.

"The Oakland Raiders have signed unrestricted free agent DE Justin Tuck, general manager Reggie McKenzie announced [on] Thursday," the club said in a statement.

Tuck spent nine years with the Giants, making 127 appearances in total.
