McFadden to put 2012 behind him

Darren McFadden has said that he wants to put the 2012 NFL season behind him.

The Oakland Raiders running back struggled with injuries throughout last year, finishing the season with 707 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

The 25-year-old told the Bay Area News Group: "There's always going to be things that gets your blood boiling, but last year was last year.

"It's something I put behind me. We're moving forward, and I'm looking forward to a new season."

McFadden is entering the final year of his contract with the Raiders.
