Report: Andre Holmes to miss four weeks with fractured hand

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Andre Holmes faces four weeks on the sidelines with a fractured hand.

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Andre Holmes could miss the first week of the season with a fractured hand, according to reports.

The 27-year-old faces competition from Michael Crabtree and Amari Cooper for a starter's berth this season, but his latest injury could be a hindrance.

ESPN expects him to be out for up to four weeks, meaning that his place against the Cincinnati Bengals in week one, and the Baltimore Ravens seven days later is in jeopardy.

Holmes scored four touchdowns last season.
