Vince Wilfork has said that Tom Brady goes the extra mile in practice to ensure that he is ready for playoff games.
The New England Patriots quarterback has won three of the five Super Bowls he has played in, been voted to the Pro Bowl eight times and is considered a candidate for this year's league MVP.
The defensive tackle told reporters: "It is not about the plays or not about what he does, it is just seeing how hard he works. A lot of times you get a chance to see him on the field and then you don't see behind closed doors.
"Sometimes I look at him in practice and I say, man, you have been doing this for so long and you are still worried about your footwork.
"But it is just little things and he is always going that extra mile to make sure he is in the best shape and in the best situation and putting his teammates in the best situation that can give us a chance to win."
The Patriots face the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game this Sunday.
