Half-Time Report: New England Patriots surge ahead of Baltimore Ravens

The New England Patriots are in a commanding position having scored three touchdowns to give themselves a 17-0 lead over the Baltimore Ravens at half time in their NFL clash.

Legarrette Blount opened the scoring for the Patriots with a one-yard run for the touchdown, allowing Stephen Gostkowski to kick New England seven ahead.

Shane Vereen latched onto a four-yard pass from Tom Brady to help push the score towards 14-0.

Gostkowski then returned with a 45-yard field goal in the second to leave the Patriots 17-0 in front going into half time.
