The Minnesota Vikings held on to secure a narrow 13-9 win over the Chicago Bears in the final week of the regular season in the NFL this evening.

Teddy Bridgewater tossed the ball deep to Greg Jennings early on, but the wide receiver's touchdown was chalked off after the review showed that the ball hit the ground before he had control.
The quarterback could not find an open receiver on the next play, leaving Blair Walsh to break the deadlock with a field goal.
Jay Cutler returned to the starting lineup for the Bears after being benched last week, but he failed to get the Chicago offense going in the first half.
Matt Forte picked up some yardage with the running game though, and managed to get the visitors into field goal range shortly before the end of the second quarter, leaving Robbie Gould to kick it through to level the scores.
Jay Feely took over kicking duties from Gould, who has missed time with a quadriceps injury recently, kicking the Bears ahead at the start of the third quarter.
Minnesota were soon back ahead though as Bridgewater completed a deep pass to Adam Thielen, who ran it back 44 yards for the first touchdown of the game.
The Bears added another field goal late on, but a drive deep in the fourth quarter stalled, allowing the Vikings to run down the clock and seal the win.
The defeat ensures that the Bears finish at the bottom of the NFC North, while the Vikings end the season with a 7-9 record.
